Some Christmas morning recipes and pretty dishes to share your faith

Today my friend Karen Ehman is featuring me on her blog, and I’ve shared two recipes I’ll be preparing for Christmas morning.  Carb alert!  They will need some fresh fruit and protein to round out the breakfast, and not set my family up for a mid-morning crash.

I’m also giving away some really cute kitchen items.  So hop on over and post a comment on Karen’s blog letting us know what you plan on serving Christmas morning.

If you are visiting from Karen’s blog, I wish you a warm welcome.  I hope you’ll stay awhile and visit.  You might enjoy my post on Monday where I reorganized one cabinet for easier Christmas baking.  I was tired of hunting for ground ginger or wondering if I had any cream of tartar.  Now I know what I have.  And I threw out some really old stuff.  Embarrassing!

I’ve been on a DaySpring kick recently, and my family and friends are getting lots of pretty things for Christmas.  I’ve gotten my first order and I love everything.   So I thought I’d share a few more pretty things from DaySpring that would go well with your Christmas breakfast.

Hope you enjoy window shopping.

Christmas hugs,

Glynnis

The traditional Christmas breakfast in our house is pigs-in-a-blanket with mini smokies, sausage cheese balls, scrambled cheese eggs, homemade cinnamon rolls, juice, coffee, and milk! The best part is the family time.

We’ll probably have some sort of breakfast casserole … easy and fast. Although, I haven’t really planned out our menu for that week yet. We don’t have a traditional breakfast for that day, so we’ll just go with the breakfast casserole.
